With its deep carvings and custom fittings, this sword will assuredly be the center piece of your collection. The Tsuka was carved by artist Jose deBraga famed knife maker and artist behind the swords of Highlander 3
The Blade
The blade is hand picked by our artisans and only select blades are used in construction of the AB1. We use only hand made, carbon steel blades that have been properly heat treated, a process that produces a sori of ½ to 1 inch. This extra step, while more time consuming, assures that your sword will be of superb quality and beauty. And because our blades are handmade, they will look similar; however they will have variations assuring that no two will be alike. What this results in is a unique sword worthy of passing on for generations.
Final Assembly
We then assemble the sword as if we were making it for ourselves, checking and rechecking the fit of each piece so that we can be as certain as possible that it meets our high standards. Each sword is then number and issued a Certificate of Authenticity.
What is Gen4? Gen4 stands for 4th generation. The 4th generation swords use an advanced composite for the handle and offer the option of a refined kevlar & carbonfiber reinforcement core. The result is a lighter and stronger sword. The Gen4 fitting have been enhanced in materials, finish and weight also lending to the improved feel of the sword as well as the overall appearance.
